PARDON OUR DUST

As you might have noticed, we’re incorporated a mild redesign of the site. It’s a subtle change to the appearance, and a more fundamental change as to the structure of the flow of the stories. Previously, we loaded all “Rumor Mill” stories into a single area, which contained 35 full entries on a single page. On some days, we fill the entire first page of the Rumor Mill with stories, and the reader would have to click on the “Previous Entries” button to get the older items. There’s now an easier way to review stories that deal with a specific topic, without having to scroll through all of the stuff in which you have no interest. For example, if you want to scan recent injury news, click “Injuries” in the collection of boxes beneath the link to the Rumor Mill on page one. We’ve got nine boxes in all tied to specific categories, including Rotoworld’s Fantasy Mill and a collection of the stories that have drawn the most comments from PFT Planet. (We’ll eventually limit it to the past week, since some of the more controversial posts are a few months old, and we’ve all moved on. And moved out.) We’re working through some kinks, and we’ll be upgrading the new design on the fly. If you have any comments (and we have a feeling some of your will), post them below.
