The roman numerals should stay, because that’s basically a part of Super Bowl tradition.
They kept the numerals for Super Bowl XXX and XL, so why change it just for Super Bowl L?

You think if they wanted to do something to avoid Super Bowl L (which for that year alone, I could see them using “50″), they would have done something for 40 (extra large?) and 30 (XXX!).
And, I’ve worked for years in brand marketing. I’ve never heard of a “logo system.”

Yes people I am bored today and that is why I keep posting today. But Ron in Charlotte made a point which shouldn’t be ignored so I say. Ron I’m sorry for making fun of the south. Much like the neo-conservatives blaming Obama for everything or the tree huging liberals blaming everything on Bush I also went off subject (afterall none of this has anything to do with football). So again I’m sorry, I’m sure if we sat and spoke we would find out were not all that dissimilar. Thanks Bubba you have enlightened me (but I still think dating your cousin is wrong)

First and for most Jersey Shore is not about people from NJ so lets get that cleared up right now Seaside is a shithole and anyone from NJ knows better then to go there.
Now as to BoA being from the South not a very good example of good business how much bailout money did they get?
Lastly I love NC but you have to admit overalls and yokels are still in large suppy in NC
I was witness to it last spring when my daughter married a very nice guy from NC and his daddy showed up in overalls and a john Derre tee.
The photos are great me in a tux him in his duds
Truth is there are rednecks everywhere but in parts yes parts of the South they do seem to be more then other parts of the country

chapnasty, you shouldnt have to explain how you enjoy the superbowl, you should be asking why dont the people ripping on you enjoy it. i too will be missing work the next day, due to the fact that when i get together with 10 of my roudiest friends and drink and play poker, watch superbowl, and go back to poker, work is usually the thing that suffers.

Keep the Roman Numerals… yeah, for SB 50 you can put a big ol 5-0 on the logo instead of an “L” but keep the roman numerals… always makes the game seem “epic” when you see the logo.
