Wayne hasn't heard from Harrison

One name we haven’t heard down here a lot this week is Marvin Harrison.

He’s not exactly the forgotten Colt because of recent events, but the team hasn’t heard from him lately.  That’s not exactly a surprise.

Reggie Wayne said Thursday the two aren’t really friends and he hasn’t talked to Harrison during the team’s Super Bowl run.

He’s to himself. He has a lonely soul. He’s anti-social. If you saw him talking to the media that’s an imposter. That’s not him. That’s just what works.

Sorry Reggie, Marvin is busy packing his bags for an extended stay in a non-extradition treaty country.

As a Colts fan, I’d like to say I am surprised. But the reality is, from all interviews over the years about Marvin…this isn’t surprising.

Not wise to keep a high profile when you go around shooting people. HEY-O.

Reggie went as far as you can go without actually calling Marvin a serial killer.

I think I’d be very uncomfortable around Marv Harrison. I grew up in L.A., a portion of that in South Central and have also lived in Rochester, NY. I say that just to say that I’ve seen my fair share of thugged-out gangsters, some of which I’m positive have done some pretty crazy shit, and I don’t scare easily. But after reading this, and pairing it with witnesses “vanishing” and high-tech guns, I’m not so sure that Marv Harrison is not The Godfather. He has the demeanor of a serial killer when you put all of this stuff in context.

I was just thinking that Marvin disappeared completely from the Colts’ scene. Part of it is the team’s “next man up” philosophy; part of it is, I think, the team and league are trying to distance themselves from an possible legal action regarding Marvin; part of it is, as Reggie indicates, that Marvin just isn’t a people person. Still, it seems kind of sad that he and his legacy are so absent from the week of festivities.

Since Marvin started talking with his guns, it’s best not to hear from him.

    In other Viking News:
Minnesota fumbled six times in the NFC Championship Game, in part because balls were jarred loose. Williams instructed his players that Vikings players love to fight for extra yards, and in doing so, they tend to extend their arms to generate momentum. That’s when to swipe at the ball. And swipe at the ball they did.
“We’ve seen guys that are fumble prone or quarterbacks that just hold the ball loosely and if you sack them, you can get a fumble,” Will Smith said. “We focus on those and pick out those players, so we know (that) if they ever get the ball, that we need to be swiping at it because there is a possibility that they may fumble.”
I’m thing AP here for some reason……

    Harrison’s ego really is ashame.
He could be making millions of dollars getting ready to play in a superbowl in a few days and probably wouldn’t be involved in a shooting case and a murder case if he would of just turned the volume down on his ego and took a pay cut. Its not like they were asking him to pay for nothing they were still going to pay him millions of dollars to play this year.
Harrison should be a precautionary story for rookies coming into the NFL. They should be told if they dont check their egos they will end up missing out on millions of dollars, probably wind up in trouble with the law, and lose their opportunity playing in and possibly winning a superbowl.
Its a damn shame how dumb hes been this year.
