Eight days later, we’re still in South Florida. To culminate Super Bowl week, we’ll be attending (drum roll, please) the Super Bowl.
And I can either sit in the press box and eat the free food and drink the free drink or I can do something productive, like sell kettle corn.
Or in lieu of doing something productive we can host a live chat for the game.
The action gets started at 6:00 p.m. ET.
Request: DON’T FORGET ABOUT CICC!!
Bob Ciccarelli passed away of lymphoma Cancer this past year. He was a hero, father, husband & friend, like not other! Worked for the same company for 38 yrs, was their Shop Steward and the backbone for all, a regular Sampson! He lived/Breath’d Sports, no understatement.
If anyone should have he was it! He married at 30 a woman with 2 boys from a previous marriage. He gave until it hurt knowing he would never get it back. People came from all over the country to attend his funeral in June. His family & friends miss him greatly. He’s bought American & supported the troops. His loyality to this Nation & it’s political system was ever present. He donated to United Way, thru payroll deductions, as well as to the local & national Fire/Police Depts. His ’97 Ranger was a visual testamony of the man. A true Renasaunse man. Born in Marinett, WS, he’d never bet against Greenbay. His father was a profession mussian, (graduate from Loyola w/Masters from Juliard), Bob’s family lived in several cities, i.e., Kenner, LA (New Orleans), Huston, TX, Chico, CA, Las Vegas, & Los Angeles Subs, to name a few. Becuase of his connection to New Orleans, he loved the Saints & is probably stirring things up in Heaven today. Go get em Cicc – it’s your day to Hoop & Holler!!

Congrats to Marques Colston and Willie Colon, and shame on the schools administration!
Mike Florio:
Rosenthal is heading down to the locker room. He’ll have his mouth open in the hopes of getting some champagne spray.

I don’t think it is champagne spray that he is hoping for.
Geez Florio…I’m going to start calling you “Debbie Downer.” How many times did you stick a fork in the Saints in the beginning of that blog? I’m beginning to wonder if you’ve ever watched a football game before.
Also…
“There was no “football move.” Moore needed to maintain possession through the ground. He didn’t. Having possession of the ball across the plane doesn’t matter. It’s amazing that men who do this for a living can’t keep that straight.”
Wrong, try again. A “football move” is not required. A receiver wide open in the end zone, standing still, catches the ball, remains still. It’s a touchdown. He doesn’t have to run around in a circle for it to count.
Moore maintained possession all the way to the ground, then after he was touched, the ball came loose. He’s officially down when he was touched, which happened to be the same action that jarred the football loose. Conversion counts…easy call.
I can not understand fans not there to greet their team. They had just played in the superbowl. I am a saints fan from way back, even with them when archie played. Shame on the colts fan for not supporting your team. Win or lose they are still your team and need the support after a lose more than after a win.
