I think he’ll be decently productive in Detroit.
I don’t want to see them burn a draft pick on a running back when they need a line (O and D) worse than any other team in the NFL, so this was a good acquisition.

If Hard Knocks showed anything, DeDe is a bit of a ‘me’ player. “Hey Carson, Do you think I’ll make the team?” and his call to Fui waiting for news if he made the team.
He is a talent, an underappreciated talent. He can run. If he didn’t keep getting hurt in training camp, DeDe might have been a star in the NFL.
Other than injuries, the only knock is that he is a little loose with the ball, dropping it on the turf a little more than average.
As a Bengals fan, I wish him well.

I like how everyone here bashes him signing for the Lions. I am sure every single one of you would decline an offer to play for the Lions because your current 9-5′s are just much better than that. Just in signing with the Lions DeDe is making more than any one of you on this board.

the lions wont improve as much as they did last year, when they improved their win total by infinity (2/0 = infinity and infinity%.).
but 3 wins, a 50% improvement, are certainly within sight.
dede, just hang on for another 10 years and u may see a super bowl as a lion.

By the way, Detroit is closer to Lake St. Clair (in between Lake Erie and Lake Huron) Lake Michigan is on the west side of the state. Green Bay or Chicago are actually on Lake Michigan, where as Detroit is on the other side of the state. Way to pass 3rd grade.

Unless your talking about Grand Rapids, MI or Chicago you should freshen up on your geography. Maybe go back to grade school and actually get your education. In case you haven’t heard Lake Michigan is on the west side of the state nowhere near Detroit. In fact the nearest lake to Detroit is Lake St. Clair which feeds the Detroit River. If your talking about the nearest Great Lake then it’s Lake Erie followed by Lake Huron. Hell Lake Michigan is farther away from Detroit than Lake Ontario. You proved that it is possible for a full grown woman to be dumber than a 7 year old. (applauds)

The Lions are going to stockpile backs with speed this offseason. They absolutely have to have a tailback that forces the defenses to adjust.
