Bengals make Matt Jones an offer, too

After a full football season during which no one was interested in giving receiver Matt Jones a job, he now has not one but two suitors.

According to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Bengals have officially made a contract offer to Jones.

The Titans also have an offer on the table for the four-year veteran who was out of football in 2009.

Reedy reports that the Bengals’ offer is believed to be slightly more than the league minimum of $630,000.

Reedy reports that the Bengals also are expected to be interested in receiver Donte’ Stallworth, who was cut by the Browns on Monday and who worked out for the Dolphins Lions on Wednesday.
