Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams had surgery Monday on the foot/ankle injury that caused him to miss the final two games of the regular season.
Darin Gantt of the Rock Hill Herald reports that Williams wrote about the surgery on his web site, although we don’t have a link because Williams apparently charges readers for the content on his site. (He should ask Newsday how well that works.)
Per Gantt, the surgery was
performed by Panthers team doctor Robert Anderson, and it’s not believed to be serious.
Williams had 1,117 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games in 2009.

Panther’s are deeper in running back’s than the Kardashian sisters so I think they’ll be fine..
In defense of DeAngelo’s site, it is run by both him and Jonathon Stewart and they host special events and have gift give a ways for their subscribers.
Don’t you mean De Williams? (see De Smith)
Don’t underestimate Carolina in 2010. With a QB (which they may already have), and a WR, that Offense could be special.
and definitely a WR. not just a qb…then they might be special.
I was impressed with the way Carolina finished the season despite 2 pro-bowl tackles being out.. DT’s and thomas davis getting hurt early didnt help either..
anyway, hope Dwill is alright, and ur right, the panthers are pretty freakin deep at rb.. that Sutton kid looks like he could be a steel to go along with DW and Stewart.

Can’t wait to see this greed-meister come contract time.
DeAngelo Williams + Jonathan Stewart = NFL’s Best RB Duo
Go Panthers!
