Deion Branch loves the Seahawks too

We’ve probably already written too much about Deion Branch, but a little overkill never stopped PFT before.

Branch recently told the Boston Herald that he’d welcome a return to New England and that he still loves Bill Belichick.  After that story got some play, Branch wanted to make his position clear.

“I’m very happy in Seattle — Put that on the front page of everything,” Branch told Albert Breer of the Boston Globe Thursday.  “I’m a Seattle Seahawk, I love being in Seattle, I have great teammates, and everything in Seattle is good.”

Lots of love in the air.  We continue to think Branch is an untradeable asset and that he won’t do better than a low-cost short-term deal if and when the Seahawks cut him.

… the day after being cut…
“I was very unhappy in Seattle — Put that on the front page of everything,” Branch told Albert Breer of the Boston Globe. “I’m no longer a Seattle Seahawk, I hated being in Seattle, I hated the coaches and my teammates, and everything in Seattle sucked. Wait a minute, is that thing on? I didnt say that!”

Does anybody actually think Branch is any good..? I don’t understand all this recent exposure…You would think this is Boldin, or even Owens………Reality check, Branch sucks, who the Hell cares what he does, or where he goes..?

If Pete Carroll is as smart as he seems to be, he will get rid of the dead weight on the Seattle Seahawks.
    Enough said!

translation – “please don’t fire me Seattle, I can’t get paid anywhere else.”

The Patriots embarrassing treatment of Branch signaled their demise as more veterans left the Patriots and went elsewhere to get paid. It’s not as easy to reload woth rookies as their braintrust thought. Brady cannot carry a team without the proper tools around him.

Until this year all the nuts were saying the Pats were too old and slow.
Try to get your stories straight at the next kook convention.

    Hey free agent..
Pitts, Indy and NE dominated NFL over last 10 years…because they were smart enough to know when to let go of big ‘names’…in order to meet cap requirements.
Teams like Wash, Dallas, Raiders spent foolishly.
Branch excelled in NE’S system…has not since then. In what way is their treatment of him embarassing???
Joey Porter was liablity [ even more so in Miami] against run…he cannot make a run tackle…and Pitts let him go…So who is the dummy?
    Think about it.

    Don’t be a dolt.
Instead of signing an overpaid and underperforming Branch the Pats picked up Randy Moss and Brandon Merriweather (the draft pick they got for Branch).
Aside from you, I don’t know too many people knocking that sort of decision.

Wow! Talk about running your mouth without knowing what you are talking about. No matter what you think about the Patriots it is impossible to argue they did not make the right call on Branch. IMPOSSIBLE! The Seahawks have paid this guy a small NFL fortune to sit in the training room during the week and on the bench on game day. The “embarrassing treatment” of veterans would start with Lawyer Milloy, not Branch. Pretty sure that worked out just fine for the Patriots as well with back to back championships. Get a clue moron. Keep spewing the idiotic hate. Don’t worry about the actual details. Those aren’t all that important anyway, right?

I think your all being harsh on Branch. He’s good… (in Madden 10….. where Walter Jones is still fit….)

‘embarrasing treatment’ applies to asante samuel, but not to branch. what has he done since he left? has he earned the salary he wanted from the pats? think not.
