Miami cornerback Will Allen recently said he’ll be in the starting lineup when the 2010 season begins.
He spent some time this morning in a place where “lineup” has a very different meaning.
Allen has been arrested for DUI in Miami, a league source has confirmed.
The information initially came from a tipster who says that Allen was driving a Ferrari (his pet name for it possibly is “Lockout Fund”).
As we hear it, Allen was arrested without being pulled over; he was waiting in traffic and making a ruckus and police who came to his vehicle determined Allen was possibly under the influence.
Allen is the second Dolphins player to be arrested this month. Defensive end Tony McDaniel was busted on Super Bowl Sunday for battery.
UPDATE: Reached for comment, Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene said, “We only recently learned about this and as a result will withhold any comment as we gather further information.” The Miami Herald has confirmed the arrest.

Not the type of “offseason noice” I was hoping for from my Dolphins….
Well, looks like Fins will be drafting another cb this year. Allen was supposed to be a veteran example for the young guys. So much for being arrested gracefully—guess there’s something to be learned from that!!
Raiders/Fins, no difference.
lil westrook says thank you.
Wow, guys. Pull it together. You are not the Bengals.
Maybe Allen meant he’d be starting for the Browns or something, cause I doubt the rotund one is going to stand for this for very long.
Bengals South. Great he was acting like an ass that he called attention to himself.
Tuna can’t be very happy.
Raising a ruckus? Let me guess, blaring rap music and shouting at hos.
o no, another off field incident that has nothing to do with actual football, bettar call rodger “the hitler” goodell to makethis guy into another pacman and take great talent off the field because goodell wants to be a cop, let me ask you this,
why is it that guys like pacman jones are safe enough for our communities (he’s not in jail) but not safe enough for the football field? ya makes sense ill let so called “crimnals” walk around famiies but not 250 players made for contact
THANKS RODGER!
First it was Randy Starks, then Tony McDaniel, and now Will Allen. This team is turning into the Bengals…
and the meter goes back to 0 again *sigh*
I’m asking you one last time because I follow the bloody meter every day … what is the maximum it has ever reached ?
don’t expect me to count the days between each arrest pfffft!
Move the Fins to LA
Another fine example of an idiot all his money he gets drunk and drives.

Pull it together Miami. Our offense is impotent and our defense is going to be the real life depiction of the Longest Yard in a couple years.
The Dolphins are going to go 10-6 this season.
10 indicted. 6 convicted.
“Bengals South” is about 300 miles north of Miami on I-95…
