Rams cut ticket prices for most seats

The St. Louis Rams, after winning six games in three seasons, have decided to drop the price for most of the tickets at their home stadium, the Edward Jones Dome.

“We are pleased to announce that we are reducing season ticket prices for the majority of our fans as part of our ongoing pledge to deliver more value to our loyal season ticket holders,” Rams exec Kevin Demoff said. “This marks the third consecutive year that we are not raising prices as we strive to reinforce our commitment to St. Louis, improve our fan experience, and reward our best customers -- our season ticket holders -- for their continued support.”

Roughly two third of the seats will see their prices reduced, with savings ranging from $30 to $190 per season ticket. Also, a $250 season ticket for more than 6,300 seats in the upper deck will be available.

Making the move even more prudent is the team’s not-so-memorable home schedule for 2010, which includes games against the 49ers, Cardinals, Seahawks, Falcons, Panthers, Redskins, Chiefs, and Chargers.
