yep that the same guy, who almost every NFL expert had being picked around 18 to 20 in last years draft. Crabtree was probably the consensous # 1 pick, until he shot himself in the foot with his primma donna atititude, and then sat out half the year. The same DHB who everybody else split on betwen him and maclin.
Don’t matter who is WR on the raiders, because the Qb can’t throw the ball flat on his back.
We will know more Sat, but I am going to be watching Iupati very close. I think he will be a pro bowl RG in the NFL, and if so worthy of the #8 pick.
What does BIg Tex stand for, besider hate for the raiders?

The only way Nnamdi goes anywhere is if Mike Ditka gets hired somewhere and decides to pull a Ricky Williams deal… For those that dont remember. THEIR WHOLE DRAFT for 1 player. Or if some team can pony up enough to make the Herschel Walker trade look like small potatoes.

Shefter is never right when it comes to the Raiders. Saying that they are in discussions with trades is like saying the sun will rise tomorrow – no shit!
However, to say that Nnam is on the block without citing a source, or even what teams were involved in these “talks” is laughable. Nnam represents everything in a db that the Raiders want, a corner that can play man coverage and shut down his assignment. Oh and by the way, he is the best at his positon in the prime of his career.
And by the way, the Raiders have never once in their history every “unloaded” players to clear cap space. If anything, Al Davis pays players too well. He is not afraid to spend money if he likes the player.
This “story” from BSPN is a non-story and is a classic example of dart board journalism.

yo big tex, how about McFadden, Gallery, Bush, DHB, Schlienzs, for starters, can we can throw in the other guys we got who started on other teams such as Satele, Walker and Barnes. Every starter on D if cut will sign with another team…name one that won’t.
I find it amazing that almost every raider that they try to have assigned to their pratice squad, gets signed by another team before they clear waivers….your texas ignorrance is showing their big guy.
I am surprised that BSPN/ PFT doesnt have Nnamdi linked to going the PAts, Giants, or Jets. It seems like that is where they have everbody going, while at the same time you never hear any player saying, when I was a kid I always wanted to be a Jet.

This story starts off by saying the Raiders have a “whole lot of players they’d like to unload”. What players do the Raiders have that anyone would want? QBs? No. OL? No. WRs? Nope. RBs. Not likely. DL? Probably not. LBs? Once again, no. DBs? 1 guy.
The Raiders assets appear to be a DB with huge contract, an overpaid kicker, and a punter.
Does anyone really think there the NFL is full of GMs saying to themselves “Wow, if we could just get a whole lot of those Raiders players, we’re in the Super Bowl.”
