As part of his Thursday appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, soon-to-be-former Eagles running back Brian Westbrook (he’ll be officially cut next Friday) was asked whether quarterback Mike Vick will be on a different team in 2010.
“Definitely,” Westbrook said.
And though Westbrook is on the outs, he was on the inside for the entire year of the Michael Vick Experience in Philly. So Westbrook is in a position to know the vibe, and the vibe seems to be that, one way or another, Vick won’t be there.
So what of those reports that he won’t be traded until August or might not be traded at all? It’s all posturing by the Eagles in the hopes of getting the highest possible draft pick.
