Well, one half of the most memorable regular season throw and catch from last season is returning to Minnesota.
The Vikings re-signed wideout Greg Lewis to a one-year contract Sunday, according to Judd Zulgdad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
Lewis’ game-winning catch against the 49ers was one of only eight grabs he had last season, but he helped the Vikings on special teams. He looks like Minnesota’s fourth receiver at best heading into 2010.

Good for him. Greg is a great guy. Never asked for more playing-time, always stepped up when asked.
49ers are pissed… lol
Greg Lewis sure is special.
Lewis should write a book when his playing days are over. Titled: “Can you freakin believe I played in the NFL into my Thirties”.
Yawn. Why not let him go so they can actually sign a free agent?
did favrequeen approve of this?
Chilly,
“Resign Greg Lewis or I’m not coming back.”
Farve
Is it true in the off season he repairs John Deere Tractors and will do Farve’s cheap
He never asked for playing time because he knows he is terrible. I remember when he was the Eagles #1 option at WR. In a related story they went 6-10 that year.
The dude is a backup and a special teamer. Nothing wrong with re-signing him as long as they didn’t overspend.
Surprised the Viking fans aren’t declaring that they are going to win the Superbowl, that’s usually their MO after any signing.

Favre to Greg Lewis was incredible – Lewis keeping his feet in bounds was one reason the Vikes got the momentum to do as well as they did.
Now they gotta get Brett back for one more season.

and comments like that after any Viking’s signing is usually Jimbo’s MO.
Yet another wide-open reciever for Brent to ignore as he throws late into triple coverage to blow ANOTHER shot at the SB.
Chilly could not be reached for comment – but was seen walking around Kiln w/ a ‘KICK ME’ sign taped to his back.
Trust me, Precious will play – but won’t show up till August because…
1. He just plain doesn’t want to show up for offseason workouts, OTAs or preseason.
2. He needs to figure out when he plays the Pack. He needs 4 weeks to get ready for the only game that really matters to him.
3. He needs to invent his yearly excuse as to why
he chokes in big games.
4. Because Deanna says so !!!
31 NFL teams are quaking in their boots…
I suppose this means the queens are a lock for the superbowl?
Let the stupid posts commence.
Pervy you stink.
Favre cemented his legacy as a Viking with that pass. Get over it fudge Packer fans.

Greg Lewis was a valubable Special teamer. Good move by Minnesota.
If (ha, like If is even a question, or is it) Favre comes back will they be know as Lewis and Clarke?
Schnapps is a helluva drug.
