Graham bows out of combine workouts

Michigan defensive end Brandon Graham will not complete drills at the NFL Scouting Combine Monday after tweaking his hamstring while running the forty yard dash.

The possible conversion linebacker — 3-4 teams are looking hard at him — hoped to run in the 4.5’s, but he ran a pair of unofficial 4.69 times.  (That’s still very solid.)

Graham had an excellent Senior Bowl, and looks like a solid first-round pick.  The injury doesn’t appear too serious initially, but his Pro Day will take on greater importance now.

I wonder what the temp is on the field there. I know the Metrodome can feel pretty chilly.
If it’s chilly at the dome where they are at, it ciould be affecting all these guys pulling muscles and so forth. One or two might be natural, but we are looking at 6 or eight here. Not good.

He will be a Patriot next year and an absolute beast.

The combine is sinking to the level of the NBA All-Star game and the Pro-Bowl.

NE in round 2 would be outstanding, but NE in round 1 would be ok by me too.

Well, the Combines mean NOTHING so no big deal, right?

Packers, Round 1. Either him or Hughes from TCU at OLB for the Green and Gold. I prefer Graham, as he’s a Big10 prospect, and is used to the midwestern weather.
2nd round, I want Ben Tate, RB, Auburn.
3rd-7th rounds, alternate between DBs and OL.
    Thanks for your time.

I don’t follow. The NBA All Star game is entertaining, as it mostly superstars on display. The NFL Pro-Bowl is pointless, as the participants can hardly do what they normally do, exhibit brute physicality. And then onto this combine, these players are being tested and measured. So, in closing, your post makes little to no sense.
    Carry on.

    Round 2?!?!?

Doubt this guy lasts into round 2.

I’d be ecstatic if this kid dropped to the Jets at 29.
Please, please New England and Green Bay, think you can get him in the second round…

Running a 40 in no pads makes little to no sense. When is the last time you saw a RB run the ball with no pads on a Sunday?
So does seeing how many times you can bench press 225, and so does seeing how high you can jump.
Now, you carry on my tiny little friend.

Graham from one side and Matthews from the other … NICE!
