He’s not a game-breaker, but may come at a relatively low cost for a dependable wideout still in his prime. According to the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens are doing their homework on him.
The team has reportedly been looking at a lot of tape on Walter to decide if he’s a fit. Walter’s size and blocking ability match up well with what they do.
It’s worth wondering if Walter is too similar a player to Derrick Mason, but there’s no guarantee that Mason will return. At this point, the Ravens may feel like they can’t be too choosy in adding dependable receivers. They need to pick up more than one.
