The sad thing is raven 4life probably believes or at least hopes what he has stated is true, the sad fact is as a defensive fan I have loved watching the Ravens play for years. They have unfortunately missed the window for a second ring which is sad because they had all the right pieces in place. Ravens fans will have to deal with the sad but true fact that the Bungles have finally learned how to take advantage of the weak and predictable run defenses that the Ravens and Steelers consistantly produce. Damn, this used to be a great division to watch.

which is exactly why they're playing the WR market....the running back was also the #1 reciever because theres no one else to throw the ball to unless the slim chance mason or clayton got open...they need to keep kelley washington. i think he dropped 1 pass all season and was huge on 3rd down. get a real number 1 wideout with mason and washington to help flacco develop....and keep rice and mcgahee (for at least one more season untill parmelee is ready for a bigger role) and cam can get reaaaalll creative.
and our defense is aging true but the draft is deep and thats where ozzie shines.

A team like the Ravens will always stock up, look, aubrayo franklin with the niners just got tagged and would have been the best dt on the market and would have got huge money, you want to know what team drafted him? The Ravens, so I'm not worried the Ravens will find guys to replace Bannan and Edwards (who really has never done anything in the first place) also the Ravens are trying to switch back to a more conventional 4-3 so they need more athletic (I might have spelt that wrong) defensive lineman anyways. The window is still open for a couple of more seasons and if the offense improves next year look for the Ravens to have a shot at a super bowl, I'm not saying their gonna win but watch out.

If Ravens lose Edwards... just another hole on a declining team that is too stubborn.
They'll eventually address the holes... but by then it will be too late and their strengths will have diminished and created new holes. They had a window to really compete for a championship, but it's just about closed.
