Trade a future 1st rd. pick to draft a diminutive nickel CB in the 2nd rd. and then the very next year you have to look to free agency to sign a diminutive nickel QB?!?
This moves makes the Alphonso Smith trade even worse… if that’s possible!

Actually ‘Beauregard’, Denver is quite high on Smith, but they do need depth at the cornerback position and Jones is more then likely being brought in as a nickleback more then anything else. This was not meant to be a big name signing to fit a major need!

congratulations Broncos.
Im a Fins fan and he is really a good player.
With the depth we have at CB right now he wasnt worth keeping around. He will be a good Nickel. He isnt a No. 2 and gosh he was killing me in the Steelers game, being 2-3 times in position to sack/stomp Roethlisberger into the ground and did not deliver.
