Cromartie has more legal problems

A. cromartie.jpgAntonio Cromartie is headed to New York, but his legal problems aren’t going away.

The San Diego Union Tribune reports that Cromartie failed to appear in court twice recently for traffic tickets and owes $799 in traffic-related fines.

He’s also scheduled to appear later this month for a “judgment debtor’s exam” which has to do with child support he owes to one of the mothers of his children.

Cromartie has at least seven different children with six women and the same paper reported last month he owed $25,000 in child support.

Cromartie will be extra motivated to play well this season, because the Jets plan to make him play out the final year of his contract, according to SI’s Peter King.

Our night really kicked into high gear with Cromartie’s trade at 10:30 PM, and it will soberly end here with his legal issues.  We’re going to pass the baton over to MDS, who has woken up even earlier than scheduled to take over the rumor mill.

It’s been fun, people.  I’ll see you in a little while when the insanity picks back up.

Seven different children with six women ?? Christ this guy needs to rethink his profession . He has had more children lately than interceptions on the field. Hopefully New York can straighten him out and make the guy get a vasectomy . San Diego was smart getting rid of this guy ..

He will be fine in NY. Great supporting cast, strong coach and the challenge of being the most thrown at CB in NFL history. I live in Miami was born in Cincinnati hate the Jets fans and organization but even I can’t help but say damn great move NY.

So this guy thinks moving to New York will help calm things down? A man who clearly wants to challenge Travis Henry’s record for impregnating multiple random woman and likes to pretty much doing whatever he wants is going to the city that never sleeps?
I just hope some veteran, maybe Plaxico, takes him under his wing and shows him how to roll, NYC style

Talk about hyperbole… that would be Chris Johnson…. Revis gets thrown at twice as much as Asomugha does…

Perfect fit for Rex and his garbarge mouth and attitude.

If he can go back to his 2007 form, then this would be a good pickup for the Jets. If he can’t then, blah.

He’s as soft as Ryan’s tubby tummy…not a good fit for this D.
