We have a free agent signing

The Falcons agreed to terms on a two-year, $5 million contract with backup quarterback Chris Redman, marking the first transaction of the uncapped era.

Okay, so this is actually a re-signing.  And if you want to get technical about it, it came before midnight.

Just let us have our fun.

ESPN’s John Clayton broke the news, which makes a lot of sense for Atlanta.  Redman, who ranked No. 48 on our top-50 free agent list, performed capably when given the chance last season.

    mystery solved.
The “days without an arrest” meter is based on Eastern Time. Does that mean I can get arrested between 9pm – 12midnite Pacific and it wont count at all?

Good for Redman, the guy probably would have been a superstar NFL QB if he didn’t have Brian “The Brain” Billick as his coach. None other than the greatest of all time, Johnny U thought that. He battled back from a terrible back injury to get back in the NFL. Good for you Chris.
