Rams re-sign Craig Dahl

The St. Louis Rams have re-signed safety Craig Dahl, the team announced today.

“Craig did a nice job for us in the secondary and on special teams last season,” Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said in the team’s announcement. “He took advantage of his opportunities to play and we are looking forward to him being part of our team moving forward.”

Dahl was a restricted free agent whom the Rams tendered at the right of first refusal level.

After signing with the Rams in 2009, Dahl started 10 games at safety and was also the Rams’ second-leading special teams tackler. Dahl had previously played for Spagnuolo in 2007 with the New York Giants.
