The release came a couple of hours ago, and in hindsight we probably should have posted something right away, given that we’ve received 100 e-mails with links to other sites’ versions of the story.
Oh well.
Former Eagles teammates Terrell Owens and Donovan McNabb will get together during the new season of Pros v. Joes on Spike TV.
Owens, McNabb, and Chargers tight end Antonio Gates will face former NBA stars Hakeem Olajuwon, Kenny Smith, and Rick Fox in basketball, during an episode featuring no “Joes” and only “Pros.”
Presumably, McNabb won’t get tired when the game is on the line.
Other former NFL players who will appear in the eight-week series are Warrick Dunn, Isaac Bruce, Derrick Brooks, and Jeff Garcia.
The show is hosted by Michael Strahan and Jay Glazer. And we encourage you to overlook Glazer’s involvement in the show when deciding whether to watch it.
UPDATE: We’re kidding about Glazer, given that the sarcasm might not properly translate.
with T.O. being a free agent, you gave me a mild heart attack!!!
way to spice up the headline for more clicks.
“Presumably, McNabb won’t get tired when the game is on the line.”
Or puke on the court.
Never watch this show and these two together again won’t make me do so.
Add Lavar Arrington to that list….he heads out there tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is T.O. gonna be on the “Joes” team?
when is the new season goin to start?
Wow, you have a big energy bill this month? What a crappy misleading title in FA…..
Are Tony Romo’s soccer games against high-school boys going to be televised too?
I thought the same thing. I was thinking Andy must be pretty desperate for this to happen. lol

God I hate Jay Glazer, and Mike & Mike (I know that has nothing to do with this article just in general). I will probably watch this though.
Enough with the puking thing, good god you guys amaze me. So your guys bodies have never done something that you didnt want it to do. I dont recall him puking in the SB, I do recal him puking in TB when the heat was up over 100 and he was running for his life, do you really fault him for that?
As far as the headline, as a diehard Eagles fan you gave me a mild heart-attack as well. Although the more weapons you can get. If he could behave himself this time around why the “F” not? Question is if it were to happen, where would he start? Also when is this show on TV? (Eastern Time wise?)
……..So… McNabb will be one of the “joes”????
Nice job of whoring the MISleading headline for hits.
It is Monday and I believe one of your great sources said last week that McNabb would not be an Eagle today, you still have a few hours to go before you are joined together with the other great insiders from ESPN and the NFL Network.
It’s only a misleading title if you’re an absolute moron.
“Or puke on the court.”
Or throw his WRs under the bus.
“Are Tony Romo’s soccer games against high-school boys going to be televised too?”
Don’t you get enough of little boys hanging out at that playground every day?
At least the basketball overtime rules won’t confuse McNabb…
Garcia’s scheduled to appear…WITHOUT MCNabb and TO????
How the hell can they pass up the opportunity of piecing together a team of Mcnabb, TO AND Jeff Garcia…holy hell, what are they thinking????
The Glazer sarcasm translated, but apparently my previous post’s sarcasm didn’t……you know about you “presumably not being a pointed object located between the thighs and directly in front of the scrotum….”
