The New Orleans Saints have re-signed one of their many restricted free agents. The move was announced moments ago.
Sticking around for one year is cornerback Leigh Torrence. He joined the team via waivers in November 2008. Last year, Torrence appeared in five games and was inactive in five others before landing on injured reserve, due to a shoulder injury.
He previously played for the Redskins and the Falcons.
Torrence had not received a tender offer as a restricted free agent.
I think we could have got someone better in the draft, he is ok at best
Always glad to see an undrafted guy discovered by Ted Thompson of the Packers and cut continue to
make it in the NFL.
