One by one, the Patriots continue to bring their own players back into the fold.
The Patriots agreed to terms with running back Kevin Faulk Wedensday, the fifth player to re-up with the team in the last week. Comcast Sports New England says it’s a one-year deal.
Faulk has played all eleven of his seasons in New England. He didn’t much attention from any Belichick disciples, but there was never a sense he could possibly leave.
Faulk remains a valuable third-down back, averaging more than five yards per carry and eight yards per catch last season.
Stable-consistent-trustworthy.
No surprise. It was always known he had an agreement to retire as a Patriot.
Strong candidate for PHOF at One Patriot Place.
Whenever I see him on the field I get the feeling something good just might happen.
Championship 2011- do it for Kevin
… and by serving as the once-in-a-blue-moon companion for the other 81.
Best contributor on offense after Welker and Moss (when he’s going 100%), easily.
And with Welker out and Moss aging, Faulk could be the #1 weapon on offense.
Kevin Faulk took full responsibility when he was arrested for weed by saying it wasn’t his. A true Patriot.
Kevin Faulk is just a smart clutch player, up there with Troy Brown in the pantheon of favorite all-time Patriots.
Glad to hear it.

Get a life Citizen Strange
Good, coming back for one more year so Sharper can light him up….if he finds a team.

….. self administered in his Mom’s basement and he passed with flying colors. What do you know?
As a Pats fan, I am glad to hear it!
Best 3rd down back in the league and best pass blocking back as well.
Great news !
I am a Pat’s fan. The first few years Kevin used to drive us nuts as he did his best Maroney imitation; fumble at the most inoppertune time. But he has grown into a reliable threat and the fumbles are a thing of the long ago past. Kevin has proven to be Troy Brownesque for that past 5 years. Glad he’s back with us for his last go around.

If he is your number one weapon, then the team won’t break 8 wins. Try not to over value a good third down back.
another quality sign….this will be a better offseason for the Pats in years….last year at this time they just lost pioli and still had not brought floyd reese in the fold.
#33 !

dang u still thinking about that?
It’s great to have Faulk back for one more season. By far my favourite Patriot and I will wear his jersey with pride throughout next season.
@citizen strange
weed.
Seriously?
That’s the best you got?
It’s legal here anyway son.
It amazes me constantly how the positive
effect this team has had on it’s fans is
best demonstrated by the negative
attitudes of the fans of the teams they’ve
beat the hell out of for the last 10 years.
It’s going to be another year of the
rebuild process, but the Pats will be shitting
in all those cornflakes come 2011-2012
