Shaun Smith visiting the Chiefs

The all-time PFT leader in posts-per-tackle, defensive lineman Shaun Smith is visiting the Chiefs this week, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Smith was not tendered a contract by the Bengals last week.

He’s played with three teams in six seasons, including two stints with Cincinnati.

UPDATE: Smith has agreed to terms, according to Herbie Teope of Time Warner Cable.

He played decent for Romeo in the past, and this is the closest the Chiefs have come to making a move in free agency.
Maybe somebody found Scott Pioli and woke him up?
