In response to the report from Gil Brandt of NFL.com that Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount failed to show up for the school’s March 11 Pro Day workout, Blount’s agent, Zeke Sandhu, has contacted us to explain that Blount at no time planned to participate in today’s session.
“LeGarrette has always planned to participate on March 18th and has advised teams and the school of this,” Sandhu said.
So there you have it. Now, if Blount doesn’t show up next week, then he’s got a big problem.
If he doesn’t get this taken care of it will cost him A LOT of money. It will be the biggest mistake in his entire life.. Seriously…
But then in your rush to post a story you neglected to research that Oregon has two pro days scheduled. Don’t get me wrong…I believe he needed to serve the entire suspension that was handed down. But when you got all that NIKE money…I guess winning was more important.
Ya Dont admitt that you posted a story without checking on it if its right and dont admitt that you got it wrong.
If it was Payton Manning you would check the story 8 times if it was correct before you posted it but because its Blount you think it must be true and just post it. Scummy.
Hey Mike, is this your “Retract that shit or we will sue your ass off” post?
yeah gil brandt would say that.
Blount is a running BEAST!
I suspect is agent is going to be doing alot of explaining for him within the next 2-3 years, before he is out of the NFL for good.
I told you so.
Blount’s agent, Zeke Sandhu also responded to continued questions with “I know you are, but what am I?”
Wait- do you mean to tell me that PFT went off half-cocked and posted an article criticizing a player’s actions without having all (or any) of the facts? I find that impossible to believe.
*eyes rolling*

What the hell are you talking about? There is nothing to straighten out. Oregon is holding two pro days, and Blount was always scheduled to be at the second one. It was Brandt’s mistake, not Blount’s.
Read the post, for Christ’s sake.
He probably got high and thought he was a Philly Blount.
@Cincinasty….uhh…I think the biggest mistake of his life was suckerpunching that guy on national television…and THEN having to be restrained from climbing into the stands Ron Artest style!
If he can run the ball, some team will draft him.
This guy is not even in the NFL yet, and he is acting like this. Wow, wait ’till he has a few bucks in his pocket and hanging out w his posse in Vegas.
I hope either Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas or Oakland wind up with this guy. Too funny.
This gangsta needs to go to a punk team. One that doesn’t care if you’re a criminal. Somewhere like Pittsburgh.
What a hack attack …. University of Oregon sent out Press Releases noting the 2 “Pro Days” – one went out on 03/03/10 (see NFL Draft Scout – search Walter Thurmond III, “03/03/10 – Oregon will host upcoming pro day workouts on March 11 and March 18. These are chances for former UO players to work out for NFL personnel, hoping to make an impression prior to next month’s NFL draft.” http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=68035&draftyear=2010&genpos=CB
The second release went out on 03/09/10 – http://www.ducksportsnews.com/blog/2010/03/dsn-oregons-pro-football-workout-days/
The Oregon Register had it online on 03/01/10: http://www2.registerguard.com/cms/index.php/duck-football/comments/pro-day-workouts/
Blount worked out on 03/18/10 with Ed Dickson, Will Tukuafu, T.J. Ward – six other Duck teammates and 1 player from Portland State … why was Blount the only player cited for “blowing off” a Pro Day he was never scheduled to attend….. Journalism at its finest ….. how about a suspension for the reponsible writer ………
