PFTV takes a look at the first wave of free agency

As the free agency period continues to produce visits and signings and, periodically, a surprisingly big contract, the first wave of the process clearly has ended.

So let’s take a look at what has happened so far.

Actually, let’s talk about it.  Via PFTV.  After all, it’s still your lunch hour; you don’t have to pretend to be working for a few more minutes.

I am liking what the Lions have done. Getting rid of players from the old staff and receiving ones to fit the system. They are no where close to becoming legitiment. Moving in the right direction.

So far no negative moves like in prior years.

The Lions and legitiment in the same sentence can not be used for another 3 years at least.

There have purposely very few moves as owners-players fight continues as owners know next year there will be no football and they are not guaranteeing any long contracts. There will go with most of the players they had left from last year and those from this year’s draft and undrafted ones too. They will also nickel and dime the first 3 rounds draft picks which will be more unsigned draft picks than ever before any season starts.
