Chargers sign Donald Strickland

A league source has confirmed that the Chargers have signed cornerback Donald Strickland to a two-year deal.

The contract was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Strickland spent 2009 with the Jets, after spending time with the Colts, Eagles, and 49ers.

A spot for the former Jet came upon once the Chargers traded Antonio Cromartie to the Jets.

GOOD LUCK with him Chargers. He couldn’t make it in NYC. San Diego must like leftovers.

Good move by the Chargers. I thought he was decent when he was healthy. Of course he wasn’t healthy all that much.

    markwhct,
And Cromartie couldn’t make it in San Diego, so what’s your point? Soon NY will be signing a 31 year old punching bag RB that was beaten by a 300lb DE in the 40yd dash in mini camp. He was also thrown away by SD. So what are the Jets? Trash diggers? Diego Dumpster Divers?
