Roy Williams expected to re-join the Bengals soon

Safety Roy Williams has twice been a free agent, and twice he’ll sign with the Bengals.  Williams’ agent Jordan Woy told the Bengals’ team website a deal could be finished by the end of Saturday.

The Bengals said that they wanted to bring back former Cowboys Tank Johnson and Roy Williams and followed through.

The team has also aggressively addressed their wide receiver need.  It’s been a rather predictable and productive free agent period for the Bengals.

Now they just need a tight end.

That would be fine with me if the guy kept a cast on his arm when he’s playing.. I’m not confident he can keep his arm in good enough condition to play a full season.. Time to look in the draft for a healthy legit starter for years to come..

because he worked out so well last year!?!?!?

I like it. As for Tight End, I’m betting they’ll make a run at a trade for Greg Olsen like they attempted at Martellus Bennett last year.

I bet they get the Oklahome TE Gresham in the draft, pick him up at the top of round 2.

This move should help Big Ben get back to raping the Bengals secondary this season.
    Too soon?

Maybe Coffman can put on some weight and learn to block this offseason. He was a stud receiving tight end in college.

I bet they don’t make a run at Gresham! If they take a TE it will be a block first TE. First round they will take Taylor Mays or Mike Iupati, if they are gone I envision a trade back or even out of the first round.

when will cinncy get it,they can draft griesham, pitta and graham to go with the guy the drafted last year[coffman maybe],and all the other TEs they have brought in,they wont ever produce a good tight end, just be a waste of a pick,so i guess,go ahead

    Mastablasta-
Do you even watch Bengals games?
If you had then you would have noticed that Roy Williams was excellent against the run and held his own in the pass when surrounded by J-Joe and Hall.
There REALLY needs to be a way to keep children off this site!

Silly OU fans.. they never understand why OU players never work out in the pro’s.
It’s because their parents are also their cousins.

According to vegas the over/under on number of games Roy Williams plays this year before getting injured is 3.5.
    I’ll take the under.

Bengals will still take a safety within the first 3 rounds. Either going to be safety, TE or D-Lineman in the first.

Exactly right, so I don’t ever want to hear another thing about Adrian Peterson. Or Tommie Harris.

This is good news. Roy Williams was a nice addition to the Bengals. His attitude was terrific, and he quickly established himself as a team leader. Furthermore, he played well when he was healthy. The guy was a hitting & tackling force, and did not embarras himself in coverage. A good guy and a good player. Welcome back,Roy.

They should have Signed Watson,I don’t see them drafting TE high though a BLocking/balanced one in 3rd or 4th round.
