What you’re tired of doesn’t mean anything to anyone. What he lost is because of his own sick behavior, no mention of that in your post though, never see a MV supporter blaming MV for his actions, just blaming others for taking him to task for what he did & would still be doing if he hadn’t have been caught. Vox – most white QB’s don’t make it either.
In fact, aside from the Mannings, Brady, and Rothlesberger, the other white QB’s have been woefully deficient as of late.
I’d point out that the QB’s you mention did not play in pro-style passing offenses in college. The over-reliance by their college coaches on athleticism over ‘system’ makes the transition to the pro game harder.
These aren’t guys coming from USC-Notre Dame-Tennessee, the programs that are associated with traditional passing attacks. We’re talking Alcorn State, Syracuse, CFU, etc.
Just a thought. Given the limited sample size this factor radically skews the numbers we’re analyzing here.

Honestly, I don’t care. Vick will have as much impact on this squad as the kid we just signed from Air Force. A total non-factor, because even if he still had superior athletic ability Reid wouldn’t know how to use it.
And he will be on the squad through 2010, because Andy and Joe need to save face. The whole signing was a fiasco. No plan upfront, no plan at the end. Just no plan.

I dunno Blue Eyed Devil, since Doug Williams black QBs don’t really seem to have done that well. Lots of records (mostly Moon), sure, but little else. Look at McNabb, probably the best black QB prospect since Moon or Williams. Fat, stupid and out of shape for the most important game of his career. Didn’t know that games could end in a tie, tried to call a 4th timeout in a crucial situation. Vick? Reid thought no more of him than a “wildcat” gimmick in ’09. Campbell, Culpepper, Russell, all scrubs. Wallace and Garrard are not that much better.
Maybe it’s just a general slump for black QBs but recent trends show that if you have a black QB starting on your team, forget about winning the Super Bowl and consider yourself lucky to make it to the playoffs. We’ll see how that plays out for the future.

Don’t have to see the contract- that clause is standard in every NFL contract
The article states that he had not recieved written permission, so obviously I, and everyone else, is commenting based upon that.
Again, why would the Eagles cut Vick now, when they can hang onto him as long as they want to try and get something back- then cut him later if they don’t and get that 1.5M back because he broke his contract.
BTW- Lombardi never said the Eagles weren’t trading Vick because Reid is enamored of him, he said they haven’t traded him because they are currently seeking more than teams are willing to pay. They want at least a second round pick, because if they hang onto him this year and he signs somewhere else next year, they would most likely get a compensatory 3rd rounder next year.
You can look it up on National Football Post if you actually care about facts at all, which it doesn’t appear that you do.

He hasn’t been offered to another team because according Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network, Andy Reid is infatuated with Vick and he will shop Kolb & McNabb before he shops Vick.

Vick: A return to the Eagles would be “an everyday struggle”
Michael Vick said playing for the Eagles next year would be “an everyday struggle” and said he “won’t be a Wildcat guy.”
The comments came in an interview with Bob Costas that aired last night during NBC’s pregame show before the Eagles hosted Dallas.
The Eagles signed Vick to a $1.6 million contract for 2009, with a team option for the second year at $5.2 million.
“It would be hard,” Vick said of returning to the Eagles, according to excerpts released by NBC. “It would be an everyday struggle. But I would have to take that time to hone my skills and get better. I’m excited about the opportunity I have moving forward whether it’s with Philadelphia or another team.”
However, after last night’s game, Vick told the Associated Press that his focus is on helping the Eagles win a Super Bowl and not where he’ll play next year. He declined to speculate about the future, although he said has spoken about it with Tony Dungy, the former Colts coach who is an analyst for NBC and a Vick adviser.
“It’s what I thought it would be,” Vick told the AP. “I knew I couldn’t come in and do anything that would disrupt the rhythm of the offense and what we had going on here. I knew I was going to have to be patient.”
“I won’t be a Wildcat guy. I can’t,” Vick told NBC. “It’s a different style of play. It’s almost like a hit-or-miss type of thing. My position is quarterback. That’s what I was born to do.”
Vick also conceded that he has had some doubts about his ability, after serving 18 months in federal prison.
“I would be lying if I said there wasn’t some doubt there,” he said. “I’m being realistic about the situation.”
“I told Michael to just worry about this year,” he said. “It’s technically up to Philadelphia. If they want him back, he has to stay there.
