Bulger shows up for offseason program

The Rams aren’t going to lock Marc Bulger out of the facility.

The team’s nominal starting quarterback, who no one believes will remain their starting quarterback because of his $8.5 million salary, showed up to the Rams offseason conditioning program Monday.

The Titans once barred the late Steve McNair from working out with the team’s complex for lifting because they feared him suffering an injury and subsequently being on the hook for his salary.

The Rams will take that small risk with Bulger, even if his presence is awkward.  St. Louis has brought in A.J. Feeley as one quarterback option and figure to add one or two more quarterbacks in the next six weeks.

    Vick and a late round pick for Atogwe.

    Mark’s only “Bulger” is in his pants when he sees Jackson in the locker room.

    Did Bulger all of a sudden forget how to throw? I don’t watch the Rams, but if I recall, it’s the team that sucks, not Bulger, right? He’s still young.
    He should find his way somehow to the Cards. He can take over for Warner again.

    Wait… Kyle Boller isn’t the answer? No way!

    I’d hurt myself on purpose. Get paid for the vacation on IR.

    No – Boller’s not the answer. The QB coming out of OK in the draft is….

  9. Dolphinatic says: Mar 15, 2010 7:56 PM

    No he Didn’t…. The QB formerly known as “Bulger” showed up to collect his CASH. He goes by a symbol instead of a name now too it’s $ . The last verified sighting of Mark was at the signing of his last contract.

    Wait a minute. Their not worried about Bulger getting hurt??? I would be afraid of Bulger getting hurt walking from his car to the locker room. . . .That’s like saying your not worried about the tin man rusting in the rain. The Rams are dumber than I thought.

    all I have to say is … poor Jackson!

    Damn, and they missed out on Delhomme! Derek Anderson is available now.

    I would fake a Stafon Johnson and drop the bar onto my chest(I’m not hardcore enough to take it to the throat, Costanza might have been)…take my 8,5 million and cracked sternum and retire.
    I would like to see him make his way to Chicago and play for Martz. Call it aquiring a quality backup and then bench Cutler if he doesn’t get it right.

    Bulger hopping for the McNair treatment.

    @Eagles4life
    Crack is what you smoke, yes? Vick for Atogwe is NEVER going to happen.
    @Slow Joe
    Yea, the Rams aren’t the pretties girl at the school dance but since 2006 Bulger’s stats have declined. It’s hard to throw a football in one hand while holding all that cash in the other.
    @Howboutdemcowboys
    At first I thought you were stupid just based off your username, which it’s not nice to judge someone at first glance. Then I read your comment and found out your twice as dumb as I originally thought.
    @OLDCRACKER
    If signing a 6th QB (A.J.) wasn’t excessive enough, I don’t think signing Delhomme or Anderson in addition makes any since they seem to be setting up to unload house after they draft Bradford. They didn’t “miss out”. In theory they could had signed either one as their 7th QB, nothing is in place to stop them from collecting EVERY free agent.
    @goJags
    I hope your talking about the 2006 McNair treatment and not the 2009 McNair treatment.
