The Arizona Cardinals have reached an agreement with free agent linebacker Paris Lenon.
Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that it’s a three-year deal.
Linebacker was a big need for the Cardinals, who lost starter Karlos Dansby to the Miami Dolphins. Arizona had free agent linebacker Larry Foote in for a visit, but after Foote signed with the Steelers, the Cardinals moved quickly to add Lenon.
Lenon played 15 games for the St. Louis Rams last year, starting 10. Prior to that he started all 48 games from 2006 to 2008 for the Detroit Lions, and spent four years, mostly as a backup, for the Green Bay Packers from 2002 to 2005.
Wow….I’m surprised this guy made it on to any NFL team with the horrific performances he gave for the Lions!

Should have given Foote a chance over this guy.
Quite possibly the worst LB instincts I’ve ever seen. He would always on the wrong shoulder of the blocker or pick the wrong hole to plug.

More proof that there are too many NFL franchises. There is simply not enough talent to stock the rosters of 32 teams.

So you replace Dansby and Rolle with Lenon and Rhodes… and they still need replacements for Warner and Boldin. Arizona better have something up their sleeve.
The great Packer scouting staff got this guy into the league and it is good to see he still can get employed.
