What is the point of this post? Now i just think your posting just to announce clearly your displeasure of Big Ben. Which is obvious and has gone too far. How are you going to feel when he gets proved innocent again? You know, hypothetically, if a woman has contact with a praised athlete, she can make up stuff and get it on the news. Even if the guy is like Tim Tebow. The first time they don’t think anything of it. Then, a year later, another woman sees that athlete and has contact with him and she figures she could get a lot of money if she can just prove she did it unwillingly. Then you have a second report and now it seems fishy. It’s that simple. Don’t be quick to jump to conclusions. You of all people should know the media blows things out of proportion. They see someone dealing with a headache and call it concusion. Come on now. I know your better than this. Get rid of the biased opinion.

I agree with HamB and Laxer about the Ben reports. This “story” by Florio is a complete reach and has absolutely zero value. First he has to recant his “story” about Palmer and Ben. Now he posts something else that appears to be an attempt at a distraction and filler. Blantant attempts to incite the Steeler haters, Ben lynchmob and morons.
This place is turning into the National Inquirer for pro football. Let us know when FACTS are available.

Per a league source, their duties included providing Ben with a stick of gum while he was on the course at last year’s American Century Celebrity Golf Championship. Specifically, Ben made a gesture with his hand, and one of the guys brought him the gum.

For once, I am (almost) speechless. It is getting the point where you are absolutely willing to print any piece of trite, irrelevant, pointless, nonsense as long as it mentions one of the hot-button topics of the day that will generate responses.
Why don’t we just shred the pretense of caring whether something is actually news or not. Just print the following every morning around 9am:
“Ben Roethlisberger has, or will at some point, get out of bed today.”
