Dez Bryant pushes back his pre-draft workout, again

First, Oklahoma State receiver Dez Bryant nudged his Pro Day workout from March 10 to March 25.

Now, Bryant is moving it back again, to March 30.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the workout will occur in Bryant’s hometown of Lufkin, Texas.  Per Schefter, Bryant wanted to work out at the Oklahoma State campus, on the afternoon of Sam Bradford’s private session.  However, Oklahoma State would not agree to that procedure.

So instead Bryant will show his stuff in his home state, the day before the University of Texas Pro Day in Austin.

Many questions have emerged regarding Bryant, a player whom many league observers believe could free fall in — and possibly out of — round one.  He didn’t work out at the Scouting Combine, supposedly due to a hamstring injury.

This is great news. I hope to God he pushes himself into the second round. My Browns could use him!

Maybe he can hold his workout after the draft.

Bryant isn’t getting past the the top 15 Florio.

It’s nice to see that once Favre FINALLY retires, we’ll have a new perennial indecision Pro Bowler in Dez Bryant.

If he falls far enough, Seattle can skip the Marshall trade and grab Bryant with their 2nd rd pick. Also saves a sh!tload of moneyz.

maybe he’s doing it on purpose, so he can keep falling down the draft to be selected by the Ravens
because my friends girlfriends sisters cousin is a nanny in Baltimore for Ray Lewis’s baby mama and she heard Ray Lewis and Deion Sanders talking on the phone and Ray was asking Deion to ask Dez to do everything he can to fall down the draft because they need help at receiver.

No matter where he gets picked, he is going to be a diva and a bust.

“Now, Bryant is moving it back again, to March 30.”
Sources say he wanted more days to sleep in.

ITS FUNNY TO SEE A GUY NAMED “GOJAGS” IS TALKING ABOUT A DIVA WR. YOU GUYS HAVE NEVER HAD A WIDEOUT SO HOW THE HELL WOULD YOU KNOW? HE WONT FALL PAST MIAMI HOMIE.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the owners meeting being on the 24th. Sam Bradford was called smart for pushing his back, wasn’t he Florio?

Your crazy to think he would fall past 21. Character issues and all.

    Kaz:
Of course he won’t fall past 21 in the draft, “character issues and all.” Because the team that drafts 21st doesn’t care about character issues. Because they’re the bengirls

My brother’s in law’s cousin’s sister’s former roommate knows Dez Bryant and said he doesn’t like the Ravens.

    Yeah, and my sister’s neighbor’s friend’s aunt’s cousin’s dog’s mother’s brother says he doesn’t like the Vikings either.

  17. gooboy6 says: Mar 16, 2010 12:54 PM

He’ll be a pro bowler with the Colts before he falls out of first round

  18. Caldon says: Mar 16, 2010 1:25 PM

Does this kid just want to play for a few million less?
Also, isn’t rather unusual that a college campus isn’t willing to let their star receiver do the workout on the campus, even if it is a different day then originally scheduled? hmmm

  19. Lex Luger says: Mar 16, 2010 1:52 PM

Jimmy Smith was a pretty good WR for the Jags, not that Im a jags fan.
Anyone who drafts a WR in the first round in generally asking for trouble, same thing goes for running back to lesser extent.
My general rule is, dude you draft in first round should be lineman, or a really good MLB.
The best athletes are a combination of strength and speed. Doesnt matter how fast 200 pound man is, he simply isnt gonna make as big an impact as 300 pound man. Skill positions are totally overrated. The people closest to the ball when its snapped make the biggest impact.

  20. nowathand says: Mar 16, 2010 7:03 PM

I’m not sure why he is doing this, particularly since he looked in shape at the skills challenge Senior Bowl week.

    @WarrenMoonGOAT:
Wow, dude. I heard the same thing from the same person. That’s greatness!!!
