Dwan Edwards signs with the Bills

Just hours after Dwan Edwards said that free agency has been difficult, the defensive lineman has taken himself off the market.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Edwards agreed to an undisclosed contract with the Buffalo Bills. Edwards, who should mostly play defensive end in the team’s new 3-4 defense, also visited the Broncos and Seahawks.

Edwards told the Baltimore Sun Tuesday that some teams had expressed reservations about the neck he surgically repaired in 2008. It’s a high-risk, high-reward signing for Buffalo. (We had Edwards in our top ten free agents a few weeks back.)

The Bills also signed linebacker Andra Davis earlier Tuesday.
