Pretty sure the Bills did that for Willis didnt they? Gave him a year to recover and paid him…etc. Minus the chance to play for a SB team obviously. Just saying.
Willis got what 14 1 yard TD runs? Give me a break. Rice made that team, not Willis. Excuse me if I think McGahee and is huge contract was a joke. Is he worth 6 million this year? Did he not suck the past 2 years, or was that someone else. Really?
The Bills got Trent Edwards with their pick… so I give you that… maybe it is a wash… haha.

He have him to look forward to for a long time and maybe in couple years the bills might get it right but until then go sabres. Besides Buffalo is trying to become the City oF HOCKEY….

i dont know what team and player you have been watching for the past couple years but wow couldnt be much further from the truth,why dont you take a sec and look up who the bills used that pick from baltimore on,oh and you say that after a season where willis totals 14 TDs, your comment is the joke

dwan edwards has taken a long time to develope,thought the ravens might have tried harder to hold onto him,guess they figure he hit his best last season,and his best just isnt good enough,but he is a descent pick up,nothing that blows a mind,but solid pick up[when he wants to give it his all]

I normally don’t point out typos, but this one is just too funny to ignore.

Just whose neck did Edwards surgically repair? And why are teams concerned about it? Was this his first surgery? Or did he perform others?
What’s a surgeon doing playing football? Does he have his hands insured? You know, in case he injures one or both and can no longer perform surgery.

Go Bills. Signing high priced free agents rarely ever works. This is another value signing with tremendous upside. Now the Bills will pick the best Left Tackle in the draft at the #9, then a QB in round 2 (Lefevere or McCoy). It most likely will be another long year-but we are rebuilding the correct way after many messed up drafts (Donte Whitner, Mike Williams and Aaron Maybin). Now the Bills need to get the draft right!!!

Ravens lost a player who had a nice contract year but not sure how he’ll hold up in the long run. Shame he took what probably ends up being a little more money for chance to star in a Ravens Superbowl run.

It’s a start for the Bills. A lot more work to be done. That said, while Edwards/Stroud could be solid, they need to pick up some young assets later on.
But this pickup probably allows them to wait on DL. While I think they should pop a NT early if there is value, I think they’ll probably roll with the undersized Kyle Williams for a bit and find a cheaper guy later on.
More than likely, their starting pieces for the defensive front 7 are in place. Not saying it’s going to be a good front 7, but the pieces are likely in place. Now, they need to focus on addressing both tackle spots, adding a WR, add a QB.
