Brayton returns to Panthers

Carolina has agreed to terms with free agent defensive end Tyler Brayton on a three-year contract, according to Scout’s Adam Caplan.

The 30-year-old has been a consistent starter since joining the Panthers two years ago.  He provides the team some stability on a defensive line lacking continuity and experience.

Brayton visited the Seahawks earlier this month.

Ironic that he visited the Seahawks after that infamous Monday Night Football game in Seattle where he kneed Jeremy Stevens in the groin (back when he was still with the Raiders).
