With respect to Accrued Seasons for determining free agency status, the 2006 CBA say a player is an Unrestricted Free Agent in an Uncapped Season if he has “five or more Accrued Seasons….” Why are players with five Accrued Seasons conisdered RFAs this year? Was there an amendment to the 2006 CBA language that changed it to “six or more”?
