Niners will pay Karl's rent, for a year

Last year at this time, unrestricted free agent cornerback Karl Paymah visited multiple teams in what we dubbed the “Paymah Rent” tour.

This year, the Vikings could have applied a restricted free agency tender to the five-year player, but they chose not to do so.  He therefore became a restricted free agent with no restrictions.

The 49ers have announced that Paymah has joined the team, under a one-year deal.

Paymah appeared in 12 games with two starts in his only season with the Vikings.

And yet another corny, unfunny joke by Florio. Consistency is not always a good thing.

I remember commenting on what a bad player Paymah is when the Vikings signed him… I don’t know how he continues to find work other than his prototypical size/speed combo.

No loss here!! But the vikes do need help in the secondary, showing exactly what Paymah is worth. Might be worth a little rent, but definately no mortgage.

Meh..He’s fourth on the depth chart anyway. And that’s only if they don’t draft a guy in a late round and cut him before the season.

The “Paymah Rent” joke hasn’t gotten any funnier in the last year, Florio. It’s still pretty cringe-inducing.

Paymah makes Gerald Sensabaugh look like Champ Bailey.

You guys are insane, Paymah is ridiculous in Madden on special teams for some reason. And anytime he makes any kind of play or even a tackle, me and my buddy are like “PAYMAH RENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!”.

    Pinkie 49er fans,
Yes, I know the name is mispelled, since “Raidernation” is very popular, I had to be creative.
Now go back to your bath house.

wow, the raiders(e then r!) have a better chance of heading to l.a. then we do. imo, i think it’s either you guys, or jacksonville, if it is jacksonville, then they move to the afc west, and move the chiefs out.

If HBO can do Hard Knocks why couldn’t Florio work the Paymah Rent tour into an annual mini-series? His agent could get on the phone with special team needy teams. We could do an NFL film-style hi-light reel of Paymah’s adventures at cornerback.
Of course, that assumes anyone other than 49′er would pay for the Paymah visit.
    Turrrblle.
