Shonn Greene: TD celebration was "no disrespect to L.T."

Jets running back Shonn Greene mimicked the touchdown celebration of his new teammate, LaDainian Tomlinson, during a playoff game in San Diego.

But Greene says he was just trying to get back at Chargers fans who were talking trash, not take a shot at Tomlinson.

“Before the game, warming up by the end zone, a lot of fans were talking trash,” Greene told the New York Daily News. “When I scored, I realized it was the same end zone, so it was to the fans. It was all in fun, no disrespect to L.T.

Tomlinson says he has no hard feelings toward Greene and that he’s hoping to show him the right way to celebrate a touchdown.

Florio, you can feel free to actually report news.
Perhaps I just don’t appreciate the cultural ramifications of malicious end zone dancing. Actually I’m GLAD I don’t.

He should be a man and say “Damn right it was disrespect towards the whold SD squad”. I wouldn’t coddle LT’s precious little crybaby ego. He’s one of the biggest crybabys and worst losers in sports. Just waiting for the multiple shots of him pouting on the sidelines in Jet green, when he doesn’t get the call or is on the losing end. Horrible signing, way to waste millions Jets!

LT and his trail of tears. Oh boo hoo someone made fun of me boo hoo hoo.
The only thing he’ll teach Greene is how to sulk on the sidelines and cry his eyes out during the playoffs.

    Hmmm…
Greene mocks LT, which LT has shown in the past on numerous occassions he doesn’t take lightly.
The Jet’s D screaming “He has no heart!” at LT after each 1-yard gain.
Over/under on LT making it to year #2 of that deal?

yeah.. peolpe who compain about “non-storys” are just feeding Florios pockets. He would love for this thread to have 100 “non-story” comments. When a story has no comments that itself will tell him that its a” non-story”….. get it

yeah like he’ll be doing a lot of that.

He had more rushing TD’s than 14 TEAMS had last year so I would suspect that he could still be doing a lot of that.
    Just saying…
