The Cincinnati Bengals, who have been fairly active in free agency, are still hoping to get one of their own players under contract.
Per Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Bengals are trying to get guard Bobbie Williams under contract soon. Reedy writes that both sides hope to finalize a new contract by the end of the week.
Williams has been a full-time starter since arriving in Cincinnati in 2004. In six seasons, he has started all but three games.
According to the report, Williams currently is at the top of the team’s to-do list. Tight end Reggie Kelly is right behind him.
Though there are indications that the Bengals remain interested in receiver Terrell Owens, nothing apparently is happening in this regard.

Williams going to hold out too long for a few hundred thousand more and the Bengals will sign someone younger. Like Shawn Andrews.
I don’t think the Bengals want that basket case in Shawn Andrews.
Maybe if he goes home and beats his old lady, the bungles will pay him what he’s worth. Who does this guy think he is, does he even have a prison record?
