The Cleveland Browns placed quarterback Brady Quinn on injured reserve in December with a foot injury. But in his first public comments since being traded to the Denver Broncos, Quinn said the foot is no longer an issue.
“The foot is good, I appreciate you asking,” Quinn said at his press conference in Denver today.
Quinn suffered what has been described as a severe Lisfranc sprain in his left foot during the Browns’ December 20 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but after two months in a walking boot he’s healthy, passed his physical and is working out with his new team.
Those workouts, he says, have been strenuous.
“The guys on the team are unbelievable,” Quinn said. “Working out with them, you see their competitive nature, the way they work, their dedication. The only tough adjustment now has been the altitude, going up and down the stairs has been a little rough here. That, amongst other things [strength coach Rich] Tuten has us doing.”
Quinn says he’s also been watching film and studying the Broncos’ playbook. One thing he hasn’t done yet is touch base with fellow Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton. That meeting is expected to take place on Friday.
Thanks Quinn, I haven’t been able to sleep nights worrying about your foot buddy.
Good news about the foot. Now when will they be fixing his throwing arm and brain?
It’s his arm that’s messed up.
Bench to Orton: Welcome back pal.
Well Cro-Mags, I’m sure you guys are even now. You just KNOW BQ has been losing sleep wondering about your thoughts on the subject.
oh good. now all he has to do is clean the sand out of his vagina
Maybe he can learn to throw with his foot.
I hope the Broncos keep Quinn away from the weight room. Maybe it will improve his accuracy.
forget about the foot, brady, you need to concentrate on hooking me up with that sister of yours.
dont worry about the altitude. Once you get a firm grip on that clipboard, you can ease right into your sideline position.
Glad to hear his foot is better, hope he comes in and establishes himself quickly. Fortunately he is not likely to check out this site and read what a bunch of uneducated douchebags have to say about him…
Hope he knows that nearly half the fans in Denver are behind him, we hope he lives up to his potential, the same potential that those idiots in Cleveland nearly wasted with their piss poor coaching, what a freaking cesspool of idiocism. Quinn I sure hope you step it up quickly and usurp that journeyman noodle-armed quarterback we currently have.
He will never take over for Orton. Not in this life time.

So Denver fans are already stabbing Orton in the back for Quinn?
Now he’s ready!
And I thought the Raiders had QB issues. Thanks Broncos!

I’m pretty sure her husband (AJ Hawk) could take you.
Lancane-
The only cesspool of “idiocism” here are the Broncos for trading for this HGH enhanced douche, and you Bronco fans for thinking it was the Browns coaches, system or team that made him look bad. BQ flat out sucks. He can’t throw accurately at all and has no touch on even short screen passes. Bookmark this thread and check back here in November after you watch him rifle a a few screen passes at 100mph across the toes of your RB, or 3 feet over his head.
Dude flat out sucks and your genius management gave us a decent RB/FB and 2 draft picks, which is even more amazing as theyw ere the only ones who wanted him.
Good luck, a-holes!
Now that he can walk maybe he can work on throwing the football with some accuracy!
its always comical when you see browns fans talking trash to other fans about their teams. given the history of the browns i wouldnt be flapping my jaw and calling the broncos stupid. the browns are the very definition of stupid. look at how the team has been ran since they came back. im just surprised brady quinn didnt get staph before he left that cesspool of a team.

You’re thinking of Derek Anderson. Stop making us Browns fans look moronic.
BQ could throw short touch passes, but thats ALL he could throw.
I hope denver likes the dink n dunk.
If you want an honost assessment of what he has done playing so far (tdawg69 you seem to have Quinn and Anderson mixed up), I have literally watched every game he has played since he walked on at ND.
In college you never really saw the issue of the deep ball because, much like Claussen, he only really tossed the 50/50 single coverage deep balls which his better than average WR’s came down with. His glaring issue in college was that if he faced a team that brough constant pressure he folded like a cheap tent.
In the pros his terrible footwork was never fixed (coaching/him for having it to begin with). He still tends to hold the ball to long when constant pressure is applied and he hasn’t shown he can consistantly throw and accurate pass from 10-20 yards and his 20+ yard passes have been UGLY. Some people say his footwork can really help with this. I’m not convinced. His 5 yard outs and screens have and always will be fine but you can only do that so much….unless your in Brian Dabolls Offense and then he will call them every play. Quinn showed no signs that he is anyones QB of the future for those reasons, however piss poor play calling, not having a viable number 1 or 2 WR and being pulled in and out may not have helped that.
Further more as I’ve said before I don’t get how everyone in the NFL (Mike Holmgren said it before and after the trade) says that noone knows who Brady Quinn is yet because he hasnt got the support needed and the time to play to see who he is yet PFT.com fanboys sitting in their moms basement can tell us….
I don’t know if the Broncos can turn him into a starting QB but I know my Brownies are better off without him because we couldnt. Nor did our fans (or have they ever) had the patience for a rookie QB to learn in this city. I hope we get a stud FA QB in the next few years and can start beating up on those Squeelers!
Muscle milk to the rescue.
BQ just waiting for Proper Quarterback Mechanics Milk………
Hey Brady….you suck. I hope you get the full Cleveland Steamer treatment on your first interception.

walked on?
Josh McDaniels thinks he is so epic that he could turn JaMarcus Russell into the next Tom Brady. Really, Josh McDaniels is an arrogant liar and he sucks.
Visit http://www.joshmcdanielssucks.com/, a Denver Broncos online community advocating for the swift termination of Josh McDaniels, or at the very least ensuring McDaniels knows that Denver Broncos fans deserve better than Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn.
I hope he has a HOF career and shoves it in the Brown’s face
heh bad choice of words. I originally had walked out of high school but changed it. Good catch though Maddog.

What was it Casey Kasem used to say? “Keep your feet on the ground, and your head up your ass.”
Dream on. Today’s Quinn is tomorrow’s Rick Mirer. Bank on it.
To all the Browns fans that were so down on Quinn.
Just who was it that coached the QBs since Quinn got there?
First year, came to camp late, Anderson started. Had the all amazing Chudinski coaching him up, TE coach extroidinaire. Not to mention offensive guru and quarterback specialist Romeo Crennel.
Second year, Anderson named the starter, he goes 3-5, then Quinn goes in against the Broncos. Plays very well, but loses at the end to Cutlers 3 TD tosses. Goes on to next game to beat the Bills, breaks finger during the game, out for season.
2009, has the amazing Mangina coming to the rescue, who brought his offensive prowess to the table. Not only his offensive prowess, but a couple of princesseseses (sp?) to boot. The ever amazing QB coacher-upper Brian Daboll!! Who coached DBs up until Mangina went to the Jets and turned him into the quarterback swami he is today. He helped Pennington to a wonderful season, and then Favre to an even better season. This hard work paid off, and he became the new Browns OCnator. Amazing isnt it?
But that wasnt the real Cinderella. The glass slipper was found to fit offensive mastermind (sorry Shanny) Carl Smith. You remember him dont you? Hes all over the headlines. Other than helping NOrleans to many years of obscurity in the NFL, he managed to keep no real job for very long, and he wasnt even in the league the past few years.
But hes the guy that turned Brady into what he is today. O’Quinn….not Tom.
Carl Smith is OUTDATED to say the least, and he couldnt coach Ryan Leaf to speak a complete sentence if he tried.
Not saying Quinn is going to light up the world….but I AM saying…..at least we’ll do what we can to help the kid out.
THANK YOU…….. .
