We wanted to get Thursday’s punter post out of the way quickly, so here goes.
The Giants and their 44-year-old punter Jeff Feagles are in a contract standoff, according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger.
It was unclear if Feagles wanted to play again this year, but his agent says he does. Now Feagles and the team are “are not seeing eye-to-eye on salary.” The Giants are trying out an Australian rules player Thursday as an alternative.
Feagles wants to play again, although we’re not sure he could get a job with another team. The Giants want him back. It makes too much sense for the deal not to happen.
Please keep playing Feagles!! You’re the last of the Tecmo Super Bowl generation (unless Carney comes back).
Teams are tightening the belt in the 1st uncapped year.
The Raiders would give in to his demands…

Collusion!
Jeff Feagles was the best punter in Tecmo Super Bowl.

You punted in Tecmo Football?
There’s an old man in Oakland, CA laughing his ass off right now.
Feagles had a bad year last year and gave up alot of yards due to his strenth: directional punting.
