Jets sign Lance Laury

The New York Jets announced today that they’ve signed free agent linebacker Lance Laury.

A restricted free agent, Laury wasn’t tendered by the Seattle Seahawks.

Laury played in all 48 games over the last three seasons in Seattle, mostly on special teams. He recorded 63 tackles and two forced fumbles in kick coverage, with just one tackle on defense.

Laury played college football at South Carolina and entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Seahawks in 2006.
