2nd arrest is 5 year suspension w/o pay/play.
3rd is lifetime w/o pay/play.
If Timmy wants to drink let him pay for a cab ride.

In Florida that is not a primary traffic offense. Apparently in Georgia, it is. You are only required to signal when changing directions, not lanes.
I would rather have heard he was pulled over for swerving or running a red light than changing lanes without signalling – weak offense. Also sad that people are convincting him here and talking about 8 games suspension – you guys know the difference between being arrested for DUI and being arrested for the suspicion of DUI, right?
Ronnie will get a lawyer & get off of the charges. If he was definitely drunk he would have been charged with an actual DUI.

Seriously, why does everyone always assume it is about race???? I really want to know, I cant figure it out. I am white, grew up in a white community, and if you are driving round, at 3 am, and you dont signal a lane change, guess what happens?? You get pulled over.
It isnt racial profiling. The majority of people on the road at 3 am, are drunk, plain and simple. So the cops wait until you do something to give them a reason to pull you over. Failing to properly signal a lane change, is all it takes for them to have a reason to pull you over.
Here are some ideas, 1, dont drive after drinking, 2 dont drive like an asshole while you are sober, because when you are drunk, you have created a habit that gives the cops a reason to pull you over.
****Side note**** If your windows are tinted so dark that no one can see the color of the skin of the person operating the vehicle, how is racial profiling???

I live in upstate NY, so things may be different here, but I do have (as most of us do) several friends with DWIs. Almost all of them are white; almost all of them were pulled over for failing to signal. One guy was even pulled over for failing to signal while merging (not a violation where I live). He beat the merging ticket, but still went down for his DWI (BAC 0.9).
DWB is a real thing (which is why he should learn to signal properly), but to automatically label this incident as such is shortsighted at best. To me it sounds like Ronnie suffered a lapse of judgment. Good guy, bad night.

A)Suspicion of DUI does not mean too much at this point
B)Even if it was a DUI, it just kinda proves one more time, that DUIs affect people from all walks of life: whether they be rich or poor, model citizen or not, whatever race. This does not make Ronnie Brown a bad dude, we’ve seen throughout his career that he is one of the good ones, and usually goes about things the right way. Momentary lapse in judgement, that I doubt will be a part of a bigger problem with this guy. Not a Dolphins fan, but I do think this guy needs people to look at his situation reasonably.
Not to mention: Dude was pulled over for not putting on his blinker while changing lanes…the cop was looking to give someone a DUI.

If it was anyone else i’d just call them an idiot but Ronnie Brown has been a choir boy his entire career. That coupled with “suspicion of DUI” sort of leads me to believe he was just in the wrong part of town and some cops wanted to harass him. Should be interesting to see what comes of this.

I am no brown fan, and I think he is probably guilty however he was arrested for “suspicion of DUI”, so you sir are wrong. However I do agree he will eventually be proven guilty or plead guilty.

I have said it for every other player on every other team that has done this so here goes. Ronnie Brown should be suspended for the first 8 games of the season given this is his first offense. 2nd offense should be a year. There is no excuse for not calling a cab or limo when you have the kind of money they do.

I was reading on MSN that all new cars are going to have computer chips in them which can signal to a satellite when you are driving over the speed limit. Thus, they won’t even have to pull you over anymore. You will automatically receive a ticket a few days later.
