Tom Brady is expected to join his teammates in the offseason program soon, but guard Logan Mankins is not.
Mankins plans to stay at his ranch in California until there is significant contract movement, according to Albert Breer of the Boston Globe.
The two-time Pro Bowler is an unsigned restricted free agent and was tendered at the highest first and third-round level. He will make $3.268 million if he signs his tender before June 15.
It’s unclear if the Patriots are moving towards re-signing Mankins long-term this offseason.
