Jerry Jones non-committal on Flozell’s future

No one loves to sing the praises of his players more than Jerry Jones, so it’s notable when he declines to do so. Especially with a franchise stalwart.

Jones would not comment Tuesday when asked if the inspiration behind the “Flozell Adams rule” would be back with the Cowboys in 2010.

ESPN’s Matt Mosley writes that it’s “obvious that [Jones] wants to wait and see what happens in the draft before deciding what to do with” Adams and safety Ken Hamlin.

We recently mentioned that Adams is due a $2.5 million roster bonus in June. We should get an answer from Jones on the future of the five-time Pro Bowl tackle by then.
