NFL Network will review status with Sapp

In the wake of misdemeanor domestic battery charges being dropped against Warren Sapp, we wondered if Sapp would work again at NFL Network.

The league-owned channel provided us this statement:

“In light of charges not being filed against Warren, we will sit down with him and review his status.”

Sapp was pulled from NFL Network’s coverage of the Super Bowl after his arrest and he has not been on the air since.

I think Sapp brings much to the table as an analyst and as a personality. If he doesn’t continue with the NFL network, he would be missed…

Was that his wife or girlfriend he was accused of hitting? If he is married and it was his girlfriend then I would think NFL would not want him back so they could protect the shield.

Actually, there is — he’s not good at it.

Sapp lost control after she ate his burger. Can you blame him?

Wait a sec, he’s black, I’m pretty sure, why is he getting off? Shouldn’t he be going to jail?

They should be getting rid of Baldinger & Theismann and Maylock…………..
    They suck!
Warren Sapp, Sterling Sharp, Marshall Faulk, Deion Sanders are the only ones that know what they are talking about………….

    He’s far better than Deion.
Just replace Deion with Warren and lock Deion up for being stupid.

For the most part, why are all the miscreants, rejects, and nimrods on NFL Network? Deion Sanders? Warren Sapp? Michael Irvin?!!!! They should see if Pacman is interested in getting Sapp’s job.
They seem to get rid of quality people like Terrell Davis, but keep idiots like Sapp and Irvin! The world is just upside down. I like players like Faulk and Woodson, but if they don’t start doing some stupid stuff off the air, they could be out of a job for being good citizens.

Anyone notice that they also cut out his appearance on the America’s Game promo they run and replaced him with a Michael Strahan clip?

To all of Ben’s accusers – could you tell the cops that Sapp assaulted you too? Anything to keep the dope off TV.

Just wanted to point out that I fully support Warren Sapp (accused of domestic battery) but want to crucify Ben Roethlisberger (accused of sexual assault).
Not quit sure why I’m such a hypocrite. I’m either a racist or a complete idiot.
Gotta go now, off to spew some more hate.

He did nothing wrong so he should be allowed back
Hard to fire someone for doing nothing

I’m torn with Sapp. One one hand, he’s a biased big mouthed blow-hard who spreads propaganda without any merit or truth to back it up(and idiots eat it up like candy). One the other hand, he is quite funny at times.
