i do not belive that sharper will go anywhere else and if he does he is oh well its all good. though he is a great player he is getting old and battered i do not think he is worth 3 mill a year mabye 2 or so but for the idiot that said he cant tackle and he blows coverages, you are out of your mind and if u dont belive me watch some highlights thats all i got on that.

Sharper isn’t a good fit at SS. The Vikings found this out. He’s only productive when he’s in the right scheme with the right players.

Sharper wanted a ring and got it in New Orleans.
It’s no longer about that. Now it’s about financial security on the last contract he’ll ever sign in the NFL.
I fully expect him to go wherever the money is best, regardless of the team record.

If the Jets’ hands weren’t tied with the final 8 rule he’d have signed with them already. Rex Ryan saw this guy play and almost single-handedly beat them last year (as that offense only managed 10 points the whole game).

Even though he was not franchised for 6+ million, it has been reported ( on local radio in La.) that he did receive an offer from the Saints that would guarantee 6+ million on a two-year deal.
I think their long term goal is to have Malcolm Jenkins take over at FS when the time is right.

As a Saints fan I would love for D.S. to come back but the Saomts have Chip Vaughn whom reminds me of a younger him. At D.S age and injury man you have to understand it was business and the Saints gave you the chance to shine. Dont go to a team that makes you look bad and have regrets on your decision

They are finally starting to realize he is over-rated. He can’t tackle/won’t tackle a la Cromartie style, blows coverage. And he starts talking bad about the teams he was on, once he leaves because he doesn’t get his extention.

This is a case of the Final 8 thing screwing a player. This is a player that doesn’t do a 6-10 team that much good. He’s a winning player, someone to put a team over the hump for 1-2 seasons. In other words, one of the final 8 teams. However, they can’t sign him unless they lose someone with high enough value
