Well, I don’t know about “primes” but three super bowls and aiding in the AFL merger, i’d take that any day on my team.
Not to defend Russell, because I think he is beyond lousy, but in the draft when many teams had him at the top in the QBs draft board of ’07, what then? Somebody was going to pick him, and pretty high up. All first round draft picks can be busts. If stafford doesn’t take the lions to the playoffs next season, is he a bust then?

Merely wish for him more money than he can manage, & it will ruin him.
Jamarcus may be dumb, but even HE knows he is supposed to make close to $10M if he somehow manages to stay on the roster this year. Thus, even though JR knows that he is in training (technically) to ‘win’ $10M more, he STILL can’t get his shit together! His #1 priority is to stay on the team, anyway he can. He’s not even sweatin’ it.

I said after Russell weighed in at the combine that he would eat himself out of the league within 5 years… considering he reportedly has lost weight and looks trimmer, yet weighs 290… I think that it is safe to say that if he played for any other team for the Raiders… well… he wouldn’t be playing for any other team other than the Raiders because all the other teams would have cut his fat ass.
