But while it’s unclear whether the Steelers actively are making plans for a season (or more) without Roethlisberger, a smart team would be — and the Steelers rarely have been accused of not being smart.
Though the outcome remains to be determined, the Steelers have every reason to be concerned. The amount of time they’re spending on the situation proves that, indeed, they are.
